Who we are
Forma is made by In The Box (Simon Ackermann, Switzerland). This policy explains what happens with your data when you use the Forma app.
What is stored, and where

What leaves your phone
Nothing. Forma has no network code: it does not connect to the internet, to our servers or to anyone else's. There is:
- no account or sign-in,
- no analytics, tracking or advertising,
- no iCloud sync and no connection to Apple Health.
Your iPhone's own backup (iCloud Backup or a backup on your computer) includes Forma's data, like that of most apps; this depends on your iPhone settings. If you chose to share analytics and crash data with app developers in your iPhone settings (Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share crash reports and diagnostics for Forma with us. These come from Apple, not from the app, and you can turn this off at any time.
Permissions

During a workout Forma keeps the screen awake and plays system sounds and vibrations. Neither needs a permission.
Third-party services
None. Forma uses only Apple's frameworks that are built into iOS, and no third-party libraries or services.
Your rights
Because your data never reaches us, we cannot see, change or delete it. You can delete single workouts and plans in the app, and uninstalling the app deletes all of its data from your iPhone (older device backups may still contain it). Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the GDPR, you can contact us with any questions.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes (for example when optional purchases are added), the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
